Seminar Tracks
Re-introduced in 2008, and back by popular demand for the Conference at LFI 2009 in New York, each of the 32 Seminars is assigned to one of seven Seminar Tracks— Lighting Design, Sustainability, Technology, Case Studies, Inspiration, Lighting & Well-Being and Professional Development. This new track system helps you easily find courses in the areas most important to you.
LFI 2009 Track Overview
CEU / Certification Maintenance
The LIGHTFAIR International 2009 Conference is authorized for the CEU/Learning Units/Certification Maintenance Points* as indicated in accordance with guidelines set forth by:
- AIA - American Institute of Architects
- ASID - American Society of Interior Designers
- IFMA - International Facility Management Association
- IESNA - Illuminating Engineering Society of North America
- IIDA - International Interior Designers Association
*Select courses that were not accredited by the AIA and the IESNA are marked with an asterisk.
Many national, state and local licensing boards and professional organizations will grant Continuing Education Credits for conference attendance when you submit the course outline and proof of attendance. You may want to contact your own board or organization to find out the requirements. Association forms from the AIA, IES, IFMA and ASID/IIDA will be available on-site.
AIA learning units and AIA member names for each course will be submitted directly to the AIA.
Forms must be completed on-site after course completion and dropped off in the CEU boxes or at the CEU Center.
