The 23rd edition of LIGHTFAIR^® International (LFI) has set new all-time attendance and trade show records for its five-day run in Las Vegas May 9-11, according to Jeffrey L. Portman, Sr., president and chief operating officer of LFI managing partner AMC, Inc.

The LFI 2012 trade show floor covered a record 206,800 net square feet and spotlighted 505 exhibitors, including 93 first-time exhibiting companies and 87 international manufacturers.  The trade show floor held 5 unique pavilions, Building Integration, Global Light + Design, Daylighting, Design Pavilions and the debut of the New Exhibitor Pavilion.

Attendance broke all previous records with 24,121 professional attendees registered. The LFI 2012 attendee population included representatives from 73 countries.
