What is the latest update on LightFair 2020?

Given the ongoing concerns around the Covid-19 pandemic, LightFair 2020, originally scheduled for May 3–7 was canceled. On March 13, the show was initially postponed to a later date in fall. After further deliberation and in response to industry concerns, LightFair 2020 was officially canceled on April 2.

What about the LightFair Innovation Awards?

We were scheduled to host the awards event in Las Vegas on the evening of May 4, 2020. Owing to the event's cancellation the winners were announced online on May 15 to coincide with and lead up to the International Day of Light on May 16. Will you be hosting the Conference virtually?

Yes! We are very close to finalizing the details on our virtual conference coming this summer. Stay tuned for details.

What about my refunds?

If you registered to attend LightFair 2020, you should have received your full refund. In the event you have not yet received a refund as of May 14, 2020, please send an email to LFI@experient-inc.com.

Will I get a refund for my hotel cancellation?

All hotel reservations made via our authorized partner onPeak have been cancelled as of March 17 with no penalty to guests. If you were charged for your hotel reservation for cancelling it after the official hotel cancellation deadline of March 5 but before our postponement announcement, please contact onPeak to request a refund. If your reservation was not made via onPeak, you will need to contact and work with your hotel directly.

Can I get a refund for my airline reservation?

Please contact the airline directly to inquire about their cancellation policy.

Will exhibitors be refunded for booth space?

All LightFair 2020 exhibitors have been contacted via phone and/or emails regarding their options to have booth, sponsorship and meeting room fees refunded or rolled over to 2021. Requests for refunds must be received by Friday, April 17, 2020. After April 17, funds will automatically be rolled over to LightFair 2021. Exhibitors may also email their LightFair sales managers to ask specific questions.

What do we know about LightFair 2021?

LightFair 2021 is set to take place May 16-20 at the Javits Center, NY. We will be co-located with the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) and be a part of NYCxDESIGN, New York City's annual celebration of design. We are working on an amazing and valuable experience to bring our industry together, while taking into account evolving safety recommendations and social distancing guidelines.
